Keys and tokens belong to one environment and never work on another. To build against realistic data before you have an organisation of your own, ask for a key to the Sandbox.

Limits and versioning

Six hundred requests a minute per key, answered with 429 and a Retry-After when exceeded. /v1 in the path; additive changes within it; anything removed gets Deprecation and Sunset headers and twelve months' notice.
